September 2012 I finally decided it was time. Maybe it was the stubborn ever increasing muffin top that pushed me over the edge, or the fact that my daughter asked me if I wanted to start shopping at Lane Bryant (not that there’s anything wrong with that) but I realized I just didn’t feel good. And it was NEVER  about a goal weight for me– it’s about how I felt in clothes- it was about wanting to wear clothes and be able to tuck in my shirt. It was about not dreading THE THOUGHT OF wearing a bathing suit. It was about feeling lighter which translates into ultimately feeling better.

And I am VERY proud to say that 16 months later I have lost a whopping 25 pounds. And I NEVER WANT t to give up on my body again. I don’t ever want to be complacent about that ever increasing jeans size, or getting to a point where I only feel comfortable in stretch pants. I want to take back ownership over how I feel, and I know the keys to all of that are changing my diet and just moving.

    I cleaned out the pantry and refrigerator of the junk we all have been eating first. Then stocked in healthy foods, fruits, veggies and whole grain pasta. Walking everyday is what I’m doing to take charge of your health in 2013

    I started by putting more green in my diet by eating salads and veggies. From there I had more energy so I bought an excercise bike and have been riding it every morning. This would be great if I won so I could go on to the next step to put more exercises in my routine.

    My eating habits received a complete facelift about 3 months ago. 25lbs are gone just by changing my eating lifestyle. I am now adding exercise to my routine and have started running again. I am not a gym person, so having equipment at home would be amazing for me and the path I am on. Thanks for the giveaway!

    I am trying to eat healthier, mid afternoon at work is hard for me to stop craving chocolate, so I am just eliminating from the entire office. No one can have chocolate in our office!
    If the weather is decent, I take a walk around our building outside.

    I’ve been drinking 100+oz of water a day and have worked out every day so far this year! The water was the biggest change I wanted to make – I hardly drank any before. It makes a huge difference!

    I need to take charge of responsible shopping. The pantry should not be stocked with treats and snacks simply because they were on sale w/coupons. My family eats what they find and there is an instinct that leads them to the highest calorie/sugar content item as soon as it comes home. We are going home cooked meals and more fresh fruit and veggies.
    and the food changes need to be paired with healthy exercise. I do need to be more consistent with walking during the winter. Too easy to skip because of weather.

    My goals sound just like yours….like you, Its not about target weight for me but the same things, liking how I feel in clothes, not cringing at the idea of a bathing suit, and just getting my energy back. This past year, my migraines have gotten out of control, which has made me more sedentary and I’ve got that muffin top I never ever had before and I want it gone as I have lately noticed just how bad it makes me feel about myself…. I already drink sooooooo much water and I eat sooo Many vegetables and no meat except chicken, but my weakness is sweets…and cheese. So, I’m practicing portion control with both as I don’t believe in giving up something you love, just cutting back. I’d love to win this….it would help me lose these fee extra pounds and help my hubby too. He saw the giveaway as I was reading it and his eyes lit up when he read it was all being given away to one of your lucky readers and said he would live to use that stuff with me….. So it would be for both of us…. And maybe getting in better shape would help him with the needed will power to stop smoking….. Thanks for the chance to win….     My resolution for 2013 is to start doing yoga and meditation daily! So far I am sticking to it!! :) I work out hard at the gym, but learning to relax and stretch is important too, so this is my new challenge :)

    I am drinking a green smoothie everyday. Adding these additional greens to my daily diet should be very beneficial. Hopefully it will help with my sweets cravings and with my allergies.

    I started juicing (Fruits and veggies), eating more raw foods, cutting out unneccesary foods, and making sure I eat well. I have started eating a bigger better breakfast.
