Life is too short not to drink so I’m giving away a free month of membership to the California Wine Club
Congrats to our winner Jennifer!
It’s been a rough couple of months for us being a part of this club no one wants to be a member of. It’s made me acutely aware of taking advantage of every last one of life’s creature comforts. The blissful slow pace of a Sunday morning, the sweetness of taking a bite of a butter and syrup soaked flapjack, and of course the undeniable pleasure derived from a glass of wine and that oh so lovely after effect the wine buzz.
So dear readers this holiday season I’m grateful to be able to share a gift with you that of the California Wine Club’s Premier Club which handpicks wines which they will deliver straight to your door for your consumption- I know a wine delivery, just in time for the onslaught of family …when a wine buzz is just what you’ll need to make it through the holiday cheer in one piece. You’re welcome!
In fact this last shipment of wine, my husband and I have been giddily enjoying, are two sumptuous estate wines from the Tulip Hill Winery:
-The silver medal winning Red is a luscious blend of Montepulciano grapes ( Italian grapes grown in California soil) and Cabernet Sauvignon– it LITERALLY bursts with flavors of summer ripened berries and a kiss of dark chocolate.
-The Reserve Chardonnay ( a silver medal and three -time bronze medal-winner) is infused with bright flavors of pineapple, lemon and a touch of creamy oak.
So, for your chance to win a ONE MONTH FREE MEMBERSHIP the California Wine Club’s Premier Club and get wine delivered to your house–handpicked for your consumption, (because if like me you are not a wine expert and therefore NEVER know what types to buy-but really want to be adventurous and test out different ones) this club is actually the perfect platform, for you to get busy! And what I really adore is that one of the goals of the California Wine Club’s Premier Club is to take the “stuffy” out of wine with their uber cool magazine Uncorked.
And now the best part Married my sugar daddy readers will receive A special 10% discount on every gift order they place just enter the promo code “marriedmysugardaddy”.

Anakena Sauvignon Blanc (Chile)! I actually read your whole post, because, I think we are kindred (sarcastic) spirits! Couldn’t agree more…need the “relative buzz”!
THX keep it up!
I love any Cabernet Savignon and Syrah. I would love to get this because I am a native Pacific NW and just moved to Texas! I miss my good wines!
King’s Estate Pinot Noir
Well, I have to go back to BC (before children) when we could spend a bit more for wine, & now that I’m unemployed & on a single income, we rarely spend more that $8/bottle. But my favorite & most memorable wine from back in the day is the Lytton Springs Zinfandel from Ridge Vineyards (Sonoma, Dry Creek Valley). Delicious rich, full fruit & spicy!
Following you on Twitter & tweet complete.

I recently discovered lss perdices 2008 Malbec at an Argentinean steak house in the East Village and have been searching for where to buy a few bottles for Christmas. For a white wine, I love chardonnays.
Apothic Red and Seghesio Sonoma Family Zinfandel. Both of these are red Zins and they are smooth and delish. They are both on the top of my list right now.
A favorite . . . hmmmmmm, its so hard to pick just one. A favorite recent discovery is Chandler Hill’s Pinot Noir (2009); they have a winery in Missouri but their Pinot hails from Williamette Valley. In the summertime, nothing beats a bottle of Vino Verde! Can’t wait to raise a celebratory toast if I win.
Love Kendal Jackson Chardonnay. Lots of memories of drinking it by the pool on a hot summer day!
