Murder is back in season with The Glades and we’re giving away signed Season One DVD sets

I am gaga for the A&E drama The Glades…of course it doesn’t hurt that the lead protagonist, Matt Passmore, is a tall drink of water who stars as Jim Longworth a brilliantly rugged homicide detective who is infamous for his reluctance to follow the rules.
(Don’t you just love men who play by their own rules, as long as you’re not married to them?!)
And when Longworth’s captain wrongfully accuses him of sleeping with his wife and shoots him, he’s exiled and forced to relocate… and that’s where the term The Glades comes into full view-as he lands in a sleepy, middle of nowhere town called Palm Glade, right outside of the Florida Everglades. The town, from the outside, appears idyllic and like a place where golf and sunshiny happiness are rife… unfortunately its idyllic pace does not keep the murders from piling up and has Longworth working on each case as only a gritty, homicide detective like him, knows how– and we all get a front seat to the action!
Tomorrow night, in the season premiere, the daughter of a notorious Cuban mobster turns up dead in a Little Havana alley and Longworth and the rest of the Florida Department of Law Enforcement must solve her murder to prevent an all out war between two rival families.

mine also is NYPD blue, the interaction between the cops and suspects was awesome.
If Criminal Monds counts as a police drama that one is my favorite because I love Dr. Spencer Reid & Derek Morgan. My second favorite is the First 48 I like when the episodes are in Miami my hometown.

My favorite is The Closer. Great characters, complex plotting with twists and turns, humor. It’s got it all.
I liked the original Law And Order, the storylines were always riveting.
My favorite has been the gang of NCIS w/ the Gibbs slap, they are like family. I also enjoy Criminal Minds and the chemistry between Derek and Garcia. My new fave is definitely the Glades can’t wait for season two.

My favorite police drama was HBO’s The Wire. Not only was it an amazing show, but I worked on it as a featured extra! Most exciting thing ever!

My favorite cop show is a British one called Midsomer murders, its star is an excellent actor named John Nettles. Its basically all about crimes that happen in an area called Midsomer set in the English country side.

NYPD Blue. I like the storyline with Rick Schroder the best. The Jimmy Smits episodes were good also.
