Want to change up your hair, without cutting it or sewing in extensions? Mama this giveaway’s for you!

Congratulations  to Melinda Gordon who won our giveaway!

Whether you may know this or not- I recently got a Brazilian (yes I told everyone I got one of them and they all thought I was refrering to a Brazilian on my naughty parts!) Bt alas no I actually got a Brazilian Blowout- which cost me a FORTUNE and will only last about four months at which point I’ll have to go back to the salon and fork over another king’s ransom worth of shekels.

So if you’re feeling the need to change up your look, temporarily- a pretty fabulous option; the new Dancing with the Stars Put On Pieces ® hair extension collection, which essentially allows you to recreate the high-impact looks of the show in the comfort of your home.

Developed with heat-friendly Tru2Life® technology, each signature style can withstand heat up to 350º, allowing you to style the pieces as you would your own hair. Straight Tru2Life® fibers can be curled, while curled Tru2Life® fibers can be straightened—any style stays locked in place until heat-styled again.

Each piece is available in 12 unique shades, ensuring there’s a hue for you.
Styles include:

Bango Tango ($22.00): Blunt cut clip-in bangs
Bellissima ($10.00): French braid band
Flirtini ($39.00): 19” of cascading waves on a clip-in comb
Glamarama ($20.00): Soft waves on a clip-in comb
Go! Go! Girl ($49.00): 18” layered one-piece clip-in extensions
Salsaloosa ($15.00): A hair wrap with contrasting lengths
Starlights ($49.00): 18” human hair clip-in highlight extension

If you want to recreate Kendra Wilkinson’s High Updo: Start by parting hair and braiding each section. Bring all the hair up into a high bun and secure with bobby pins. To add volume to the updo, simply clip-in the Dancing with the Stars Glamarama Extension ($20: HSN.com) to complete this look!

To achieve Chelsie Hightower and Karina Smirnoff’s Blunt Bangs: No matter which style you want to recreate at home, you can add bangs by using the new Dancing with the Stars Bango Tango Bangs ($22: folica.com) for a non-committal look!

To achieve Chelsea Kane’s Bold Streaks: You don’t have to commit to high or low lights to achieve fun, bold hair color. To add high or low lights to your hair without permanent hair color, clip-in the Dancing with the Stars Starlights Human Hair Extension ($49: HSN.com)!

So mamas…I’m giving away FIVE hair pieces to one lucky lady. You can choose five from the same collection, or one of each- whatever you choose. To enter the giveaway leave a comment about the worst hair experence you’ve had ( bad haircut, bad dye job– because we all have been there and you know misery LOVES company! For a second entry you can follow me on twitter at Madijack for a third entry you can like Married my Sugar daddy on facebook and for a fourth entry you can like Dancing with the Stars Hair Collection by Put On Pieces Giveaway ends April 14th at midnight EST. I had a "friend" give me a body wave. My hair was mid-back length. It was a total melt-down of my hair, to the point that I could not even brush it. I was forced to cut my hair very short, and have kept it that way since.

A went to a new hairdresser that came highly recommended and got a haircut and when he was finished I had hardly no hair and I looked like a boy. Also took so long to grow and I was very conscience of my lack of hair, There was not enough to put in a roller to get a curl.

There were the horrific home perm years as a child; however a couple of years ago, not under the hands of my mom and the home perm box, I decided to change my hair color to a more dramatic dark color for the new year. Lets just say I should have stayed with blonde it took me two years to get back to my natural color.

I have had several bad hair experiences; once, I tried to lighten my hair and ended up with purple hair…I have no idea how that happened. Another time I went to a new salon for a cut, ugh, I walked out with barely any hair left…and what there was was sticking up in all different directions! Trendy. LOL Thank you. :-)

My mom used to give me perms when I was little and I thought I had destroyed all the evidence. Recently when we were at her house, she pulled out boxes of old pics and I ended up mortified in front of my current boyfriend when she decided to show these horrible pics to everyone there!

My worst hair experience was when I was a hair model for a hair show and they convinced me to get a pixie cut with highlights – I hated it and looked like a man! Plus, it took absolutely forever to grow out :(

My best friend highlighted my hair with one of those caps. However, she didn't realize that she was grabbing far too much out of the cap in some spots and not in others. I had huge chunks of blond in my dark brown hair matched with random little wisps. It looked like a young child draw in my hair with a bleach pen. :(

This was a toss up between two omg experiences that were self-inflicted. I think the worst was when I tried to lighten my dark brown hair. I happily when to my local drug store and purchased my hair coloring. I can't even remember what went wrong only that when I was done my hair was a vibrant as a carrot. Ahhhhhhhhhh. I could not leave the house looking like that so I sent my mother to purchase dark black hair coloring to counteract the color. My hair was so toasty after that. Lesson learned. READ THE INSTRUCTIONS FIRST.

In high school, I read in Seventeen magazine that Neutral Henna added shine to hair. Instead, I bought NATURAL Henna, which turned my hair Bozo Red (and really smelled horrible, might I add)!

I am a natural redhead. My sophomore (or junior?) spring break my mom let me put temporary hair dye in my hair. the kind that "washes out in 2 weeks". I picked fire engine red. It turned my hair PURPLE! Worst part was it never fully washed out and my hair was peach for a good year. To this day i hate all things peach… minus peaches because they are yummy!

My worst hair story was when I was 20 I wanted to permanently straighten my hair chemically. Being a poor college student, I thought the $6 at home kit would be a smart investment. After about half the time that was recommended my head started burning. It was too much to take and I quickly jumped in the shower. Clumps of my hair fell to the ground, it took about 3 years for the hair to get back to its original length. Never again.

When I was in middle school, I was convinced my curling iron wouldn't work unless I put about two pounds of gel in my hair. You can imagine how attractive that looked.

Add that to the fact I would settle for only the tightest, most unnatural-looking of curls. It was just… awful.

Did I mention, in middle school, my hair was also FRIZZY?

So, yes. I had frizzy, crunchy, wet-looking, unnatural curls. On purpose.

This is quite possibly the worst hair story you will ever encounter. It all started with a nice stroll to Jamba Juice with the hubs. Blissfully walking hand in hand and chatting about nonsense. Then I saw it. The Supercuts next door. DISCLAIMER+++++I have TWO hairdresser sisters and I know this is of the devil. I go against my better judgement in need of a side bang and I needed it THEN. I send my husband to get my Jamba and I take a seat. I take a seat under the scissors of a bull like stylist with platinum and carrot top spiked hair. She scared me because she was angry at the world. I sheepishly sunk into my seat and said I would like a side bang..nothing too short. I looked down at the magazine in hand and looked at adorable Katie Holmes and her adorable hair :-) As I flipped through the pages I suddenly felt a shiver go through my body. What could it be? It was the cold, icy scisscors skimming my neck. I gasped and looked up! My hair!!!!!!!!!! She did one big, violent chop across. My husband walked in the door. A Jamba Juice in both hands and his jaw dropped to the floor. The stylist said oh he LOVES it. Of course he was in a a bad state of shock that all of my hair was gone (and he did NOT love it) I walked out shaking. I lost my long, flowing locks. All in a helpless pile on supercuts floor. Years of growing out. We walked home. I saw my mushroom head shadow on the ground beside me..and I cried….My hair was abducted and I had to PAY for it. I started getting weaved in extensions and feeling normal. Then times got tough and my hair went back to being mushroomesque….but now my friend, it looks like a Joe Dirt mullet. This all to say..please pick me. Having pretty hair can make you feel SOOO much better!!!!! Please give me some hair back :) ) Plus I just had a baby so I need a pick me up, let's face it, the bod is not rocking! ;-)

I have very dark hair. I wanted to lighten it a bit when I was a teenager and stupidly let my sister dump peroxide in my hair and blow dry it in. Yeah, it turned this hideous yellow orange and when I tried to dye it back brown, it just got even uglier orange and very brittle. I haven't dyed my hair since!

    Thanks!
